About me
I am María Touza. I am originally from Venezuela and currently living in Barcelona, Spain.
My journey in this field started in my home country, where I graduated as a psychologist. I pursued further education in The Netherlands, where I obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and started my private practice. I have also continued my learning process, specializing in Psychoanalysis of Lacanian orientation, which is the approach I use for therapeutic treatment.
After having lived in the NL for 4 years, I moved to Barcelona, where I am currently based.
My way of working
Psychoanalysis of Lacanian orientation.
My therapeutic approach is guided by the principles of Lacanian psychoanalysis. This means that I firmly believe that each person is unique and there is no manual that applies to all. Sessions are a space for deep exploration, connection and understanding of your particular experiences, and ways of dealing with life’s challenges.
